Rental terms regarding rental of the building are:
  • ALCOHOL WILL BE ALLOWED with these advance arrangements:
    • An ADDITIONAL FEE of $100
    • A written agreement added to your contract, specifying conditions of use for alcohol
    • A $1 million insurance event endorsement covering Milwaukie Community Club for possible liability or damage due to alcohol use

  • No illegal drugs inside the building or on the grounds.
  • No smoking or tobacco products
  • No drinks or refreshments in the ballroom
  • All functions shall be ended by 12:30 a.m. unless written permission is obtained in advance

  • A refundable deposit of $500 shall be paid at the time the keys are presented for use of the facility.  The $1 million insurance endorsement must be presented at the same time if you want to use alcohol.  If the building is in satisfactory condition after rental, deposit will be returned within 10 business days. Repair of damage, cleanup etc., which exceeds the $500 deposit shall result in a bill to be presented to the renter, who must accept such appraisement as final

In order to reserve a date, you must sign a contract and pay your rental fee.  If you break the conditions of the contract, especially if alcohol or drugs have been used in the building or on the grounds WITHOUT PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS, or if someone has smoked inside the building, your entire $500 deposit will be forfeited.  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BEHAVIOR OF YOUR GUESTS.

  • Cancellation prior to 30 days before use date shall include a full refund of both rent and cleaning deposit. After that, only the cleaning deposit shall be refunded.

  • Rental does not include the furnishing of linens, dishes, silverware, small appliances, or kitchen paper products.

  • Renters shall make no unlawful, improper or offensive use of the premises.
  • Maximum occupancy shall not exceed limits posted by Fire Marshall
  • Rental terms are for a minimum of six hours (plus 30 minute set-up and 30 minute cleaning time). The fee for one time only renters is listed below. Long term renters (who sign a contract for six months or more) may negotiate for reduced rates, depending on time and availability.
